The Legend Is Back: The 2018 Dynastar Legend Series

For the newer generation of skiers, there exists a fable of a ski long past. This ski was revered from Mad River Glen to Alta and beyond. It was known that this ski was what true legend's like Erik Roner chose as their one ski quiver. 

All new for 2017/2018 Dynastar revives the Legend with a line up of hard charging, clean carving, ski machines. The 2018 Legends offer a series of waist widths for both men and women to compliment the styles of numerous skiers.

Men's

Legend X80

The lineup starts at the 80mm waist X80. This ski offer comfortable control for all mountain and all terrain skiers. With a soft, forgiving flex the X80 is a smooth and responsive ski in a number of conditions. Available with the Xpress 11 binding system.

Legend X84

Next is the X84. With Tip-Waist-Tail dimensions of 123-84-106mm, this is truly the one ski quiver. Offering a relatively stiff flex the X84 skis with a sort of, magic energy from turn to turn. A progressive 5 point sidecut and slight rocker provide versatility in every snow condition from powder days to laying over turns on sunny groomer days. Legend X88

The bread and butter of the Legend line comes in the form of the X88. Of all the skis we tested at the 2018 ski test, this 88mm waisted beast was our favorite. Firstly, the X88 can carve a turn on a dime. It truly feels like a ski made for turns when you get it out on groomers and icier runs. Where the 88 excels though is in the deeper snow. With the amount of tip rocker, these skis just blast through any snow in their way. This allows the skier to maintain a forward, aggressive stance in deeper or spring snow. Legend X96

The Legend X96 is the perfect ski for those who plan to spend more days off trail, and searching for deeper snow. A great ski for touring that can manage as burly a downhill as you can throw at it. 5 point sidecut and rocker combine to provide float and stability in deep snow, with a substantial amount of control on groomed runs. Available flat or with the Konect 12 SPX Dual System. 

Legend X106

The Legend X106 is an all terrain powerhouse. A perfect blend of width and sidecut, allow the 106 to roam free at any resort. The all new Dynastar Powerdrive Construction creates a powerful yet forgiving ski which is sure to keep you hooting and hollering be it waist deep powder or a sunny spring day with friends. Legend Factory 117

 The Legend Factory is the epic grand-daddy of the bunch. An ode to a classic, this 117mm behemoth charges any terrain placed in front of it. Designed for speed and power, and willing to take out anything in it's way to achieve it's goals. Available flat or with a pair of Look Pivot 18 B130s.

Legend W75

The lineup starts at the 75mm waist W75. This ski will keep you begging for more with it's active wood core and powerdrive construction. With a natural flex, you'll have a responsive and comfortable ride in any number of conditions. Available with the Xpress 10 binding system.

Legend W80

A Legend in it's own right, the W80 is as versatile as it is smooth and comfortable across all snow conditions. Rocker combined with a progressive 5 point sidecut create a natural versatility for all types of skiers to enjoy any terrain. Available with the Xpress W 10 Binding System.

Legend W84
